Square Ceiling/In-wall Loudspeaker Delivering High Quality Sound and Wide Sonic Dispersion

The Sound Advance CT12F ™ is a unique, extended bandwidth, wide dispersion Flat Panel loudspeaker designed for application in commercial and residential installations.

Employing Sound Advance's patented Flat Panel Diaphragm Technology™ the CT12F radiates sound in a smooth, hemispherical pattern with over 140º of sound coverage. Because of its wide sound dispersion pattern, fewer CT12F loudspeakers are required to meet the same performance of conventional, narrow dispersion ceiling or in-wall loudspeakers. As a result, CT12F speakers can be spaced farther apart, reducing the total quantity of loudspeakers required for almost any installation which dramatically reduces the total system cost.

The surface of the CT12F utilizes Expanded Polystyrene™ creating a smooth surface which may be finished with water soluble materials such as latex paints to match any color or decor requirement. With its paintable surface and no unsightly speaker grille, the CT12F blends easily into any decor

Designed for easy installation, the CT12F is mounted using a torsion spring bezel. For faster installation results, the model CT12FH employs a proprietary QuadCam™ mounting system which greatly reduces the time required to install the product. Both models flush mount into conventional drop ceiling tiles, concealed spline tiles (using the CSB-F bezel), sheetrock, stucco walls or ceilings up to one inch thick.

CT12FH - 8ohm, with QuadCam™ mounting system

CT12FHT - as above with 8W/70.7V or 100V transformer

CT12F - 8ohm, for torsion spring mounting

FMB-F Flush mount bezel for suspended or solid ceilings.

FMB-FS Torsion spring bezel for suspended or solid ceilings. This bezel requires the use of the TBS12S T-Bar Support Bridge.

CSB-F Concealed spline bezel for flush mount in 12 inch square concealed spline ceilings.

SMBOX12 (CT12FH and CT12FHT models only) Allows discrete surface mounting of CT12FH and CT12FHT on any hard wall or ceiling where conditions prevent standard flush mounting.
