CT8B/10B/12F™ Series High Quality, Wide Dispersion Loudspeakers
The SOUND ADVANCE CT8B/10B/12F Series is a unique, extended bandwidth, wide dispersion planar loudspeaker designed for application in commercial and residential installations. Because of its patented Planar Diaphragm Technology™, when properly installed in a ceiling or wall boundary, the CT8B/10B/12F radiate in a smooth, even coverage hemi-spherical pattern, with more than 140° of dispersion. This dispersion characteristic allows the CT8B/10B/12F loudspeakers to be spaced farther apart, reducing the total quantity of loudspeakers required in almost any installation, when compared to narrow dispersion conventional loudspeakers. The flat Expanded Polystyrene [EPS] loudspeaker surface may be finished with water soluble materials such as latex paints to match any decor or colour requirement using conventional brush-on, roller or airless spray application systems. The CT8B/10B/12F are generally mounted into wood or metal stud walls, ceilings or suspended ceiling tile systems. Both standard stud/nut type and torsion spring mounting configurations are available to insure the proper match to any construction style. The CT8B/10B/12F Series use industry standard 8" loudspeaker mounting accessories and will retrofit into almost all existing standard 8" diameter loudspeaker openings.

IMPORTANT Installation Note:
Remember, if you are going to install the CT10BH or CT10BHT into "hard walls or ceilings" made of gypsum or plaster construction, you must have access to the rear of the assembly to be able to use the "stud" mounting hardware available on the CT10BH and CT10BHT models. If you do not have access to the rear of the device you can use the CT10BS or CT10BST models with spring mount hardware and either the TBS8-10 or, for tight spaces, the "Spring Mount Plaster Ring" (Atlas/Soundolier part #T75-8). The T75-8 will also work with the CT8BS(T) but the easiest way to solve the problem is to use the CT12FH(T) with a FMBF bezel.
